About Bonnie J. Kilburn, Jr. The Upper Peninsula of Michigan provides a beautiful setting for a Children's Book Author, Public Speaker, and Writer. It is said that one cannot go home again, but Bonnie has returned to the peaceful backdrop of the Upper Peninsula's Two Hearted and Tahquamenon Rivers, Lake Superior, and the forests which boast of maple, beech, and pine trees interwoven with a multitude of creatures. It is here that this Children's Book Author finds the inspiration for her writings and public speaking.

"Thank you for coming to talk to us and giving us the three postcards. We wish you could come and read us some of those wonderful poems you wrote. We love your poems. I even wrote a little four page book with poems in it. I didn't like to write before you came but now I do because you encouraged me to like writing." —Your Friend, Rebecca |
